This body of work was created as an investigation into how the sewn surface can capture the details of bleached bones. The horns and antlers of the creatures are created by wrapping them in various kinds of cord that is then stitched into place. The forms are made with cardboard, masking tape and newspaper and covered in a hand-sewn skin of cotton textile.
