I am investigating the structure and impact of the tat lace created by my Great-Great-Grandmother Olive through digital files, 3D printing, bronze casting, cyanotype prints on cotton and digital embroidery. I am interested in exploring ideas of touch, labor, distortion and material heirarchy by combining technology with hand-powered processes.
